Ratan Tata News Live: he final rites of Industrialist Ratan Tata were performed at Worli crematorium. His mortal remains were initially kept at the NCPA lawns at Nariman Point for public viewing. Union home minister Amit Shah personally paid his respects to the veteran industrialist, representing the Government of India. Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Group who transformed the company into India’s largest and most influential conglomerate, passed away at the age of 86. He breathed his last at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai at 11.30pm on Wednesday, after being in intensive care since Monday.
