Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly taking additional steps to enhance his security following fresh death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The actor, who has been on the gang’s radar for a while, recently received another threatening message, days after the murder of his close friend and political leader, Baba Siddique. In response, Khan has decided to import a ₹2-crore bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV from Dubai, a model not available in the Indian market.
The new vehicle, according to reports, is equipped with advanced safety features, including explosive alert systems, thick bulletproof glass, and camouflage black shades to prevent identification. This is not the first time Salman has turned to bulletproof cars for safety—he imported a similar vehicle last year after receiving previous threats from the same gang.
In addition to securing a new vehicle, Salman’s security has been significantly tightened on the sets of Bigg Boss 18, where he continues to film despite the increased threats. Over 60 security personnel have been deployed to guard the area, with restricted access and strict security protocols, such as checking Aadhar cards of individuals entering the premises.
The Bishnoi gang, which has claimed responsibility for Siddique’s murder, allegedly sent a message to Mumbai Police demanding ₹5 crore from Khan to “end the enmity.” The threat warned that failure to comply would result in dire consequences for the actor, similar to what happened to Siddique.
With the latest developments, Salman Khan continues to take all necessary precautions to ensure his safety amidst the ongoing threats.
