Nokia unveils new Wi-Fi and fiber solutions at Network X 2024

At Network X 2024, Nokia unveiled exciting advancements in its Wi-Fi and fiber solutions. The company announced its new Digital Automation Cloud Wi-Fi solution, enhanced by Aprecomm’s AI-powered network optimization technology. This upgrade promises to improve performance and will be available through the Nokia MX Industrial Edge (MXIE) application catalogue in the last quarter of 2024.
In addition, Nokia expanded its fiber access portfolio with the introduction of the Lightspan MF-8. This high-capacity platform supports 10/25/50G and future 100G Passive Optical Network (PON) services, making it perfect for mid-size deployments such as cabinets, central offices, and data centers. The Lightspan MF-8 is designed to ensure ultra-reliable performance with six-nines availability, offering top-tier services without a single point of failure.
Christopher Lycett, event director of Network X, reflected on the success of this year’s event, stating, “This year has exceeded all expectations with over 15% growth in attendees. We’re grateful to all participants and look forward to seeing the community again next year.”
