Destiny Fans Invited to Sign Up for Mobile Spinoff Testing

Good news for Destiny fans: a new mobile game set in the Destiny universe is on its way, and you can be among the first to try it out. While it’s not exactly Destiny 3, players will soon have the chance to dive into a new experience on mobile.

Destiny: Rising, a free-to-play sci-fi RPG shooter developed by NetEase, takes place in an alternate timeline during the post-Dark Age era. Licensed by Bungie, this mobile spinoff offers players a mix of familiar and new elements, including PvE and PvP modes, and hero characters with unique abilities. Players will explore various locations, some entirely new and some recognizable from the mainline game.

The game retains much of the classic Destiny appeal with a shared universe and multiple game modes, from single-player to co-op and competitive multiplayer. Players will also have the option to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives and can choose between touch controls or controllers.
